- Attempt any two questions/ किन्ही दो प्रश्नों के उत्तर दें –
(a) What is an operating system? Explain functions of an operating system.
ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम क्या होता है ? ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम के कार्यों को समझाइए ।
(b) Define the following –
निम्न को परिभाषित करिए –
(i) Compiler (ii) Assembler
(iii) Loader. (iv Linker
(c) Differentiate between Multi-programming and Multitasking.
मल्टी प्रोग्रामिंग तथा मल्टी टास्किंग में अंतर स्पष्ट करिए ।
- Attempt any two questions/ किन्ही 2 प्रश्नों के उत्तर दें –
(a) Define and differentiate short term, medium term and long term scheduler.
शार्ट ट्रम, मीडियम टर्म, तथा long-term शेड्यूलर को परिभाषित कीजिए तथा इन में अंतर स्पष्ट करिए ।
(b) Explain SJF and Round Robin scheduling with example.
SJF तथा Round Robin Scheduling को उदाहरण सहित समझाइए ।
(c) Define the following –
निम्न को परिभाषित कीजिए –
(i) Throughput (ii) Turn around time
(iii) Resonce time (iv) Waiting time

(a) What is process? Explain all states of a process.
प्रोसेस क्या होती है ? प्रोसेस के सभी स्टेट को समझाइए ।
(b) Define Deadlock. What are necessary condition for deadlock?
डेडलॉक को परिभाषित करिए । डेडलॉक के लिए आवश्यक कारण क्या है ?
(c) Describe paging.
पेजिंग को समझाइए ।

(a) Explain different Page Replacement Algorithms.
विभिन्न पेज रिप्लेसमेंट एल्गोरिथम को समझाइए ।
(b) What are different access methods available for a file? Differentiate them.
एक फाइल के लिए विभिन्न एक्सेस मेथड क्या है ? उनमें अंतर स्पष्ट करिए ।
(c) Differentiate Dedicated and Shared devices with examples.
डेडीकेटेड तथा शेयर्ड युक्तियों में उदाहरण देकर अंतर स्पष्ट कीजिए ।
