- (a) State whether the following statements are true or false –
निम्नलिखित कथनों में सत्य /असत्य लिखिए –
(i) The Digitizer is an output device.
डिजिटाइजर एक आउटपुट युक्ति है ।
(ii) Electron gun is a part of LCD monitor
इलेक्ट्रॉन गन एलसीडी मॉनिटर का एक भाग है ।
(iii) The data access speed of optical disk is slower than that of magnetic disks.
ऑप्टिकल डिस्क की डाटा एक्सेस स्पीड मैग्नेटिक डिस्क की अपेक्षा कम होती है ।
(iv) Pen Drive is an example of EEPROM.
पेनड्राइव पी आर ओ एम का एक उदाहरण है ।

कंप्यूटर टेक्नोलॉजी में वीडियो डिस्प्ले का क्या महत्व है ? स्वच्छ चित्र सहित एक सी.आर.टी. मॉनिटर के कार्य सिद्धांत का वर्णन कीजिए ।
(b) Explain the difference in the working principle of LCD and LED display units.
एल.सी.डी. एवं एल.इ.डी. डिस्प्ले यूनिट के कार्य सिद्धांत में अंतर स्पष्ट कीजिए ।
- (a) What are the different types of keyboard used with computer? Explain the working principle of any one of them
कंप्यूटर के साथ उपयोग किए जाने वाले विभिन्न प्रकार के कीबोर्ड कौन-कौन से हैं ? किसी एक के कार्य सिद्धांत की व्याख्या कीजिए ।
(b) In the context of magnetic disk storage, define the following terms –
मैग्नेटिक डिस्क स्टोरेज के संदर्भ में निम्न पदों को समझाइए –
(i) Sector/ सेक्टर
(ii) Track /ट्रेक
(iii) Cylinder/ सिलेंडर
(iv) Disk Address/ डिस्क ऐड्रेस
- (a) How the read/write operation is performed in a hard disk drive? Define the terms – access time, seek time, latency and transfer rate.
एक हार्ड डिस्क में रीड / राइट ऑपरेशन कैसे संपादित किया जाता है ? एक्सेस टाइम, टेक टाइम, लेटेंसी एवं ट्रांसफर रेट को परिभाषित कीजिए ।
(b) Explain the basic principle of storage in optical disk. Give the advantages and disadvantages of using optical disk as storage media.
ऑप्टिकल डिस्क में स्टोरेज हेतु उपयुक्त मूल सिद्धांत की व्याख्या कीजिए । ऑप्टिकल डिस्क को स्टोरेज मीडिया के रूप में उपयोग करने के लाभ व हानियां लिखिए ।
- (a) Give the broad classification of printers. Explain the working principle of a laser printer
प्रिंटर का वृहत वर्गीकरण दीजिए । लेज़र प्रिंटर के कार्य सिद्धांत की व्याख्या कीजिए ।
(b) what do you understand by network peripherals? Explain the working principle of modem.
नेटवर्क पेरीफेरल से आप क्या समझते हैं ? मॉडेम के कार्य सिद्धांत की व्याख्या कीजिए ।
- (a) What is the significance of power supply for any electronic device? Explain the working principle of SMPS.
किसी इलेक्ट्रॉनिक डिवाइस के लिए पावर सप्लाई का महत्व क्या है ? यह सी.एम.पी.एस. के कार्य सिद्धांत की व्याख्या कीजिए ।
(b) How many types of UPS are there? Explain the working principle of an online UPS.
यू.पी.एस. कितने प्रकार के होते हैं ? एक ऑनलाइन यू.पी.एस. के कार्य सिद्धांत को समझाइए ।
